Giving valuable information is key when it comes to list building. People join lists to hear more from a person, they are not going to do that unless they think you can provide them with more valuable information.

Once you have knowledge on your product/business opportunity you can gain status amongst so many people who will look up to you as a leader and want to hear more form you and inevitably BUY from you!

You could know all the Internet Marketing techniques in the world but unless you are giving good quality content not many people are likely to want to hear more from you. I see countless Internet Marketers just talking about how good their product is, instead you want to brand yourself and not your product. People buy from a person!

Unfortunately nowadays there are so many people/businesses that simply spam and try to con people out of their money! This has caused nearly everyone being sceptical when it comes to buying into business opportunities or products over the internet.

Therefore it makes people like you and I who do have genuine home business opportunities/product that can benefit someone a lot harder to get the message across that we are legit!

There is an advantage to this though. You can stand out from these hypesters by doing the exact opposite to them. This is done by branding yourself and giving valuable information about the niche you are invovled with. By helping a person out you build their trust so they will opt in to hear more from you.

By giving people information and branding yourself you really will stand out from the crowd. People buy from people not some automated marketing system!

Therefore the majority of people will opt to hear more from me, join my list and inevitably buy a product from me or become a part of my team!

So now you see how providing valuable information really will build you a list of motivated, happy followers and inevitably make you money! Also if they opt in to your list that you send emails and broadcast to keep on with the valuable information, if they have bought one product form you they already like and trust you so will be likely to buy another product.
